Rodney Harris, President St. Francois County Sheriff's Association   (573) 756-3252 (573) 431-2777   Send us an E-Mail Return to the Community Involvement Page Hi, I'm Rod Harris, president of the The St. Francois County Sheriff's Association.   The association is an organization composed of concerned private citizens and law enforcement officers.  Our mission is to help the sheriff's department and promote better relations between officers and private citizens.  We have monthly meetings where we discuss the needs of the department as well as the county.  We have two fund raisers each year, one in the spring and one in the fall.   The spring fund raiser is primarily to generate money to purchase needed equipment for the department.  However last year, due to the generously of our contributions, we met the needs of the department and were able to give two scholarships to Mineral Area College, $100 donations to all project graduations in the county and made donations to the shelter for battered women, FFA, Summer Baseball and the M.S. Foundation, just to name a few.   The fall fund raiser goes solely to Shop With A Cop, Christmas for underprivileged Children.   We are proud of our organization and the citizens of the county.
